Region III
Coaches,
First
I would like to congratulate all the coaches who have made the playoffs in
their fall sports. Next I would like to introduce myself. I’m Howard Bell, and
I have the honor and privilege of being the Region III director for the next
two years. I’ve been the girls powerlifting coach in Canton for 7 years, and
have been blessed to have been a part of three team regional championships and
to have won the last two team 3A state championships. I’m excited to be your
director and look forward to continue to make Region 3 the best powerlifting
region in the state.

March 3rd
– Regional Division 2(3A) In Canton
We have some exciting new changes for the girls. First of
all, the Regional meet will be held in Canton this year. It will be broken into
the classifications or divisions. Division 1 will be 4a/5a only and will lift
on March 2nd along with Division 3(1A-2A). Division 2(3A) will lift on Saturday
March 3rd. The greatest change will be the fact that 10 athletes from each
division will now get to lift, so basically we will go from 12 total lifters in
the past to 30. Remember to recruit and sell your program.
INVITATIONAL MEETS
If you are hosting a meet please let me know ASAP. I will try and post to let others know of
your dates. Each meet has to have at least 4 teams represented, and at least 20
lifters. Results must be e-mailed to me by Monday at 4:00 P.M. Please use
powerscore to score your meet.
The regional rankings will be handled by Sandhill Software,
so please email to me in that format. No other format will be accepted.
