- Regional Qualification will be in three divisions(just like boys). There
will be three divisions at the regional meet. Division I 4A and 5A. Division
II, 3A, and Division III 1A and 2A. Top 10 in each Division will qualify for
the regional meet.
- Top 2 at the regional meet will qualify for state along with top qualifier
in each classification and any lifter who hits the qualifying total at the
regional meet.
- Girls rules of lifting will be the same as the boys
- State meet will stay in Corpus Christi for the next 3 years.
- THSWPA judges can be certified through either the THSWPA or theTHSPA
- New THSWPA president is Mike Dills
- Team ties will be considered to be ties and co-winners.
